ME Law Professional Corporation is a litigation practice based in the heart of Downtown, Toronto.
We primarily focus in the following core areas of civil litigation:
1. real estate litigation
2. estate litigation
3. corporate/commercial litigation
We also have a number of other files in such areas as contract breaches, collections, breach of fiduciary duty, insolvencies, professional negligence, shareholder disputes, mortgage enforcements, tortious interferences, defamations, and etc.
Any prior experience in a legal industry would be a great asset both in an office management, legal assistant, paralegal etc capacities.

Office Manager - min. 3 year of experience required

MAIN DUTIES:
Office Manager's duties involve, but not limited to, the following:
· assisting management / executives, lawyers and paraprofessionals, accountant with recurring and daily admin queries
· HR Duties (assistance with hiring / interview process / performance reviews / and any other daily and regular HR duties)
· Onboarding new staff and off-boarding departing employees
· Liaison with IT support and other IT vendors
· Working closely with Accountant and Heads of Units on AP/AR
· Liaison with key Company’s key vendors and suppliers
· Performance management: metrics and KPIs collections from employees, monitoring and reporting the same to the management on a weekly basis
· Implementation of Corporate strategic goals and reporting of the same to the Executive Board
· Adhering to Company’s policies, creating new ones and close collaboration with Quality Control and Management to improve existing protocols and operations
· Other Ad-hoc admin duties
- This position can potentially grow into an Executive role, i.e. managing other similar admin staff with company expansion to different geographical locations
- Assistance to the Executive Board with the change and knowledge management of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Admin and similar management experience
- HR / Operations & Performance management experience
- Customer service experience
- Understanding of the litigation procedure environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for excellent service and communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (reading, writing and verbal)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Email, Legal practice management software (an asset), good typing skills
